The "villa
Beau-Rivage" was built at the end of the 19th century and was the
property of Madeleine Lemaire, a well-known water colour painter. In
her studio, situated in the "rue Monceau" in Paris, she gathered
every week artists and members of the fashionable society of the
time, and her poetry and music evenings were very popular with the
"Tout Paris". source : "les
